Dr Jaime Gutiérrez del Álamo is a general pediatrician, particularly interested in immune system disorders and in general care of children and their neurodevelopment; but with an important experience in different hospitals and pathologies.
Dr Jaime Gutiérrez del Álamo, thanks to his experience in different hospitals, diagnoses and treats a wide range of medical conditions from different pediatric specialties: Neurology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Pneumology, Cardiology (first impressions),
Because of his special interest in Immunology, he is experienced in vaccinations (local and abroad calendars), infectious diseases and allergy (providing treatments for desensitization to drugs, egg or milk through oral immunotolerance; and allergen-specific immunotherapy for asthma.
He has also worked with high-complex patients in a pediatric palliative care unit, so he can manage more specialized conditions and different medical devices (nebulizers, ventilators, nasogastric tubes, wound dressings…) and he uses to practice a comprehensive approach to the patient and his/her family.
