Dr Emilio González Cocina

Dr Emilio González Cocina has been a Consultant Cardiologist and the Director of the Cardiovascular Medical Centre of Malaga and Marbella since 2006.

His training as a cardiologist was carried out at the Hospital 12 of October in Madrid, a center of great national and international prestige in the field of Cardiovascular Medicine.

Dr González Cocina has a wide professional career, both in teaching and in medicine. He worked as a professor of Medicine and Cardiology at the University Hospital of Malaga for eight years, and since 2009 he has been President of the Cardiology and Cardiac Rehabilitation Section of the SAC.

He also highlights his informative work, having presented more than 40 communications to national and international congresses and has published more than 40 articles in scientific journals and book chapters.
